Heritage Salon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the institutions that preserve and protect Black history. Since our founding in 2009, we have evolved from a blog into a magazine (the first and only of its kind), and now a national platform committed to uplifting Black museums, historic sites, historic homes, and Black history through advocacy, storytelling, and intentional action.
